Motivational Interviewing
Suzanne D. Alfandari, M.S, LMFT, an experienced and passionate Motivational Interviewing (MI) trainer, is a member of MINT (the International Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) and is a MINT Certified MI Trainer.
Suzanne has trained organizations in MI including any and all staff, from those who work with low income and challenged families to providers who support first responders with PTSD.
On staff for 15+ years at Marin County Mental Health, she created curriculum and taught MI to the psychology interns and helped implement an MI-informed consultation style for staff.
Suzanne is a Motivational Interviewing Trainer at UC Davis Extension, Davis, CA, and the Bay Area Academy with California State University in Fresno, CA.
Suzanne offers individual and group MI consultation with counselors and psychotherapists.

Suzanne is an Expert Certified EFT Tapping Practitioner, a trainer, and a contributing author to the book, Clinical EFT Handbook: A Definitive Resource for Practitioners, Scholars, Clinicians, and Researchers. Vol. 1.
She provides EFT Tapping workshops in schools with teachers, parents and students; in medical and dental offices to staff and their patients.
She offers workshops to fit with the needs of the community.
As a seasoned psychotherapist in private practice, Suzanne offers classes and consultation regarding usage of EFT Tapping with other therapists, coaches, health care practitioners and counselors.
